Payment and Refunds
Payment for ALL Inspired Dance classes is due on or BEFORE the first day of class each month.
Payments received after the 15th of each month will incur a $12 late fee. To avoid $12 late fee, Parents MUST communicate payment needs/concerns so we can work with you.
*Monthly payments are set up to help those who can not make bulk payments. Bulk payments can also be made. Recurring billing upon request is also available. Regardless of how payment is made, commitment to the session is necessary.
Reminder: Once you agree to join, Monthly and registration fees apply. Payment is non-refundable.
Good attendance is required in order for the student to keep up with the class. Poor attendance slows down the student's progress. Please contact us if a student will be absent for one or several classes. If a student is more than 15 minutes late, they may be asked to observe rather than participate.
We follow the Traditional School Calendar for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. For all other holidays, please see our class calendar for information on whether class is held or not.
Withdraw from Class
Parents and legal guardians of a student who decides to withdraw from a class must email us. A withdrawal fee will be charged of at least half the total session fee. Contact us for more information.
Parent MUST communicate with us dancer's intent to withdraw. Parent is still responsible for that months payment. Withdrawing early in the semester/yr will result in a cancellation fee. Upon communication, a cancellation fee will be set and monthly payment will end.
Drop-off & Pick Up
Parents and guardians can drop off their dancer and return at the end of class. Parents are welcome to sit out in our waiting area. There is a window for viewing. We do share the building with Evergreen Health Clinics and ask that parents, siblings, and dancers be considerate of their clients. Please keep noise levels down and be respectful to the building and to others.
If you do watch, we ask that you do NOT disrupt class with younger siblings. We appreciate your willingness to cooperate in this matter.
Please put chairs back where and how you found them. Clean up after yourself and follow our Golden Rule: “Leave your surroundings better than you found them.”
It’s important to communicate with your child’s instructor at least once a month to be sure you don't miss any vital info. Information for your dancer's class will be emailed. Changes in class attendance must be communicated to Amy.
Emails will be sent out once a month or more, usually on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Please check your emails weekly to stay up to date.
Inspired Dance reserves the right to dismiss any student for failure to comply with our behavior policy or for behavioral problems.
If a student becomes disruptive in class:
The costume fee is for production classes. It is non-refundable and is due in November. The costume fee does NOT include tights or shoes. After the performance, the costume is yours to keep. Props or other items used for the dance are property of Inspired Dance.
Parents must sign a liability waiver found on the registration form, releasing Inspired Dance, and any other cooperating facility from all liability for injuries or property damage that may be sustained as a result of participation in this program.
At Inspired Dance we take the safety of our students seriously. We will consistently strive to establish a safe environment for your child. In the event of an accident, you will be notified immediately and any emergency services deemed necessary will be contacted.
Parents will have the option of ordering recital photos and individual pictures prior to our Spring Recital. This service is currently made available through Leah Southwick Photography. Please address all questions or concerns regarding recital pictures with the photographer.
