Each year Inspired dance finds ways to reach out to the community. One way is by visiting local retirement homes. Sometimes we perform for them and sometimes we simply visit them. Either way, we are the ones who leave feeling treated!
As we grow, we will find more ways to reach out to the community or get involved with other community events.
December 2015: Random Acts of Kindness were distributed to family friends and neighbors. We also collected 122 pairs of shoes to be donated to a village in Africa. The shoes will be sold to help pay for a well, which will provide a source of clean running water for the people in that African village. Thank You Dancers for your kindness! We may never know the impact those shoes made, but we can feel good knowing that we did a good deed. :)
At the end of our season, our classes get together at a local school auditorium to perform for family and friends. It is a grand finale of all the things we have been learning. We make our recitals fun: dancers enjoy performing, parents are amazed by their child's progress, and reminded of their adorableness, and we keep it to an appropriate time.
